Very good point - that was a "double bogey" hit, with both VEIL and the LaserShield, each attenuating IR, and then with their combined synergy.
But still, the results of having VEIL painted to various areas of happya$$
's car, and the IR signature immediately dropping (and remaining significantly lower than un-treated, after drying), does testify to the effectiveness of VEIL.
Enough for me to hit all of my jammer's mounting hardware, anyway!
The only question I have is if an LPR fails to automatically "read" a plate, will it alert to inform the person performing the "scanning" to manually enter the values?
^ That scares me, too.
As automated plate-readers become more commonplace, I also fear what will happen in my case, as I've got replica plates.
Although the computers should easily be able to read my tag, in-daylight....I cannot help but wonder if some kind of "pattern recognition" may fail.
