Hi Veil enthusiasts! This product seems like the best thing short of a top of the line laser jammer, so I'm all over it! After this coming pay day I will be upgrading my RD (pretty much sold on the Beltronics RX 65 blue display, but maybe the STI due to increased range) and getting the combo of the G4 and laser shield from the same online source as Mark mentioned. I always thought, "what if I could have just a couple seconds before that laser had me nailed?" This forum and your product are just what the doctor ordered! One quick question on application: Is the foam brush still the best known way to coat the headlights or is there a better way? And how many coats is required for best function?

Thanks for all the info and help guys! Speed safely =D

Most still like the foam brush, but if you have the ability and skills, airbrushing can lead to superior results, and furthermore, based on what we've seen of djrams80's setup, professional spray-painting with HVLP automotive paint-gun is even more impressive.

VEIL Guy has always said that the first coat is what gives the best performance-versus-lighting capability trade-off.

While successive coats will further cut LIDAR return, you'll also get diminishing lighting capabilities.

While the latter trade-off is acceptable for some, for others, it may not. So it's something that you'll have to hash through for yourself.

When I put G2 on my car, I used those little rollers (foam) that people use for window frames ect and it gave me a nice even finnish compared to the brush. although less easy to see, no thick and thin spots I never knew if this method was as effective as paining. Also far easier and quicker to apply.

Is there any simularity between veil and the CARC paint the army talk about? Just curious, even here in RSA, our vehicles were covered with paint supposed to absorb infra red, but the ill informed soldiars made us polish them till they shone. Please note, I say ill informed!
