Camera Fraud Article: Itís official, Arizonaís state-wide Photo Enforcement program is a Tax

We here at CameraFRAUD.com have long asserted that Arizona’s network of Scameras†and Talivans were little more than a tax on the people, despite DP$’ claim that the program was all about safety.

But now it’s official, the DP$ regards the money generated by the Photo Enforcement program†as tax dollars.

In today’s Arizona Republic there was a follow-up†article†about Dave Vontesmar, better known as the Monkey Mask guy.†Vontesmar†irritated DP$ so much that they placed him under an elaborate and expensive surveillance scheme, despite looming budget cuts and layoffs,† just to get video of this guy driving with a mask on.

In the article, when asked if Vontesmar could simply move out of state to avoid the fines,†DP$’ statistician-with-a-badge Lt. King was quoted as saying:

“We are a free society and you can move if you want to, but these are our tax dollars…”

There you have it, straight from a high ranking DP$ official, the money generated from the program is a tax. Thank you Lt. King for clearing that up for us.
