Camera Fraud Article: Ever wonder how close DPS and Redflex really are?
I’m guessing they’re pretty darn close.
Roger and Karen
Here we see DPS’s Roger Vanderpool and Redflex’s Karen Finley at the 100 Club of Arizona’s 41st Annual Banquet. It appears that they’re fairly well acquainted, and all dressed up in their western attire. If you’re not familiar with the 100 Club, it’s an organization that helps the families of police officers and firefighters who are injured or lose their lives in the line of duty. You can read about them here.
Judging by Finley’s shirt, I’d say that Redflex proudly sponsors local 100 Clubs wherever Redflex operates. Look closely (if you have time) at the 234 pictures from the event. NO ONE else is wearing a shirt like that except for one other person, an unidentified woman described as a Redflex representative. Look closely at her right sleeve and you can make out the partial logo of Redflex. Redflex no doubt has a box full of these shirts that are handed out to area representatives to wear when attending events like this.
Even when supporting organizations who step into action when a public servant is killed or seriously injured, Redflex still feels the need to advertise.
