Sorrow followed by fun!

Just recieved my first donation statement to the policemans ball through the mail. A whole wopping R125 ($12 I would guess), such sorrow (hee hee).

Acording to my records, that is the first time my ZR4 was beaten in 73 encounters, admittingly there were a few where I was target at or below the speed limit so lets say it is 1 out of 50. Maybe those odds don't sound good, but let me explain: Those are only counting rear shots, so I only had the rear transponder to rely on, which wasn't facing horizontal and was in fact tilted about 10 degrees up (the rear of the BMW E90 isn't flat). Transponder was also recessed by about 30mm.

After reading your posts the last few months, the last few hours have been fun, because I have finally levelled the head and installed it more proud, as well as finally getting around to fitting my old Lasertec in tandem with my rear transponder.

When testing with my tester after the install in bright sunlight, I found that the tester (home build using 4 leds)would set the zr4 off at up to about 15ft and the lasertec at 20ft, I must admit, that was a suprise. Couldnt believe it was more sensitive then the zr4.

Still one thing missing in the whole equation though, and that would be some of Veil Guys magic potion.

I trust after adding G4 to your arse(nal) you will fair much better. :)
