Guys, I'm rising this topic again.
I had some cash problems but now it seems to work out and I need to get the protection.
The car is a black 2003 STi. I already have it equiped with a Valentine 1 for the detection part.
For laser protection I need both front and rear.

Depending on your Budget i would go with a 4 head LI for front and rear protection. The new Blinder M27/47 is supposed to be out in a few weeks, it may also be an option once some testing has verified performance.

category4's Sig:On the Vette:

Valentine V1 (pop off, x band off, volume off) It is a radar locator now not a detector.

Escort 9500ci

Laser Interceptor 4 head (2 front - 2 rear)

V1 and Blinder M45/J15 on Ford F-150

V1 on the Cadillac SRX

Talking Blinder M45

Knfevg,

With your V1 I recommend the Blinder M45 J17 Rev. Two heads in the front just under the bumper and two in the rear above your tag will give you Great performance. If your on a budget, thats the way I would go. Blinders reliability has been proven to be excellent over the years. Also go woith some veil on the head lights and tail lights. We tested a 2007 STI with this same setup only it was a Blinder M45 J16 rev. It performed very well. Good luck with your decision.

Default Blinder M35 on a Big car test

Here is some footage we did with a big sedan with lots of chrome in the middle. This was the Blinder M35 J16 Rev. The new J17's perform better than the J16's. So I'm thinking if you do 2 heads in the front and two heads in the rear your good to go.
