Default Hi! New & Need Help Please!

Hello fellow victims of governments poor spending! I for one am sick of paying tickets and I need some help! I got 2 tickets in 3 days last month. I need a laser detector but have no idea what to buy. I live in Colorado Springs if that helps. Can you all give me your opinions? I would like something prices reasonably but more important something that will WORK. I do drive a silver car which I read doesn't help. It's a Corolla. Most of my tickets (I think 7 in the past 2 years) are like 5 miles over. One cop left me on the side of the road in a blizzard with an 8 week old preemie to walk 2 miles up the freeway. (I reported him) because my license was suspended for not paying a HEADLIGHT TICKET. Anyways, as you can see I am getting pulled over left and right, mostly because I drive 60,000 miles per year. I don't drive that fast, just a few miles over, but I keep getting caught. If someone could help me decide what to buy I would be grateful!

Summer

Any current model radar detector includes a laser detector section built-in.

There are many choices.

The V1 has the best laser reception of any windshield mount bar none, as well as some of the highest radar reception levels yet achieved, has directional arrows to locate the threat, is the only detector to offer both front and rear radar antennae, and is generally regarded as one of the very best radar detectors ever made.

The Passport 9500ix and the Beltronics GX65 provide very good laser detection performance in addition to very high levels of radar reception as well as providing warning to redlight and speed camera systems.

The Whistler XTR-695SE, XTR-690SE, and Pro-78SE provide high levels of radar reception performance (particularly with Ka-band), good laser detection performance and are priced at very reasonable levels.

The Escort Redline provides astounding radar reception performance and good laser detection ability and is a non-detectable radar detector, so if you drive in states like Virginia this detector would work well.

The Beltronics STi Driver provides very high levels of radar reception performance and is also undetectable like the Redline, but in the models I have encountered, its laser reception is not quite as impressive.

An older, but still shipping radar/laser detector is the Passport 8500 X50. I have found its laser reception performance to be quite high (higher than the Beltronics RX65 of the same period) and its radar reception performance its equal, which is to say, very good.

Of course any of these detectors alone will probably not be sufficient to protect you from police laser when used alone.

For that you will need a laser countermeasure product to work in conjunction with this equipment.

There are several choices in the US market:

1) Veil G4 (passive only anti-laser product)
2) Blinder M27 or M47 laser jammer
3) Escort Shifter ZR4 laser shifter (ie; jammer)
4) A combination of 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 (would be your best defense).

Of course if your budget permits, there's the "Mac Daddy" Passport 9500ci, which is a combination radar/laser detector, laser jammer, photo enforcement all-in-one system. It ain't cheap, but it sure is effective.
