Question Instant On VS. Quick Trigger

What is the main difference between Instant on and Quick Trigger?

I'm not talking about the radar guns, i'm talking about the 'burst' of signal.

I think most people would say

Q/T= .5 seconds or less burst of Radar

I/O= burst of radar over .5 seconds

I think Q/T is probably about as much of a threat as POP, which your chances of getting hit by lightning are better than getting a Q/T or POP ticket. V1 and Whistler do well against Q/T. Belscort not so much, does it keep me from using my 9500ix in the city no not really. Do I think I think a $500 detector should pick Q/T up reliably absolutely.

Cool

LOL I didn't realize that I basically asked this question twice

Check out this thread where Michael B was gracious enough to explain the 3 different types of quick burst. Basically it's like this:

Pop = 67ms - 16ms (even the v1 canít protect you against the new pop).

QT = .5 seconds to 1 second (dependent on person).

I/O is completely different. It is NOT measured in time per se. I/O is when a LEO waits until the last possible moment to shoot you with radar, and then when you are practically on top of them they hit you with radar. NO radar detector, not even a v1 can protect you against this. Itís even worse than laser because at least with laser you have some chance of receiving scatter if there are other cars ahead of you. You wonít get scatter with I/O.
