Thumbs up The 2010 Ford Taurus is incredible!

I'm in the market to buy a new car and up till now I had my heart set on getting a 2010 Lincoln MKS. In-fact was going to order it in a couple of weeks. Then a friend of mine told me that Ford was going to have a special viewing of the new Taurus SHO at this one dealership. So I drove there and OH MY GOD is this car ever so sweet! They also did a nice job on the new Mustang, but this Taurus SHO is one of the nicest cars that I've ever seen in this price class ($40,000). Every single thing that I looked at was world class, and it is perfectly set up for countermeasures. Without even taking anything apart I found several perfect spots for a 9500ci, and jammers front and rear. Even if for some reason you don't like Fords I highly recommend that you give this new car a look. One thing that I'm noticing more and more on new cars is the use of white LED's up front. The Audi R8 was the first, now the new Taurus SHO has them too. Thankfully both of these companies use them tastefully. In a few weeks my friend said that they'd have one in to drive, and that it would have the new EcoBoost engine, so I can hardly wait to take this puppy out for a drive. There's nothing like driving a really nice car

Congratulations to all the engineers who worked on designing this car, job well done

Nice.

I remember well the days of the original bad-a$$ SHO with the Yamaha engine, that car was a nice ride. Then Ford in their infinite wisdom came up with the follow-on. I am sorry, but I felt that car was hideous, nothing like the first one.

Looks like FoMoCo got it right this time around. Good luck with the ride.

Get a dark color, if you can, it'll be better for (you against) laser.

Oh definitely Tuxedo Black Metallic is an awesome color

I am really glad that I saw this car today because yesterday I bought Lexan so that I could start customizing some interior parts for the Lincoln/9500ci. This Taurus has so many great spots for installing custom equipment that I won't need to do that anymore. All of the custom 9500ci controls and all of the M47 jammer controls could be built-in to where the cigarette lighter originally is. That way you can close the lid and no one will see any controls (which you usually don't use anyway) and keep the clean factory lines of the interior in place.

One of the things that I really liked about the new Lincoln was the Ice Blue interior lighting. I am sooo happy that they carried it over to this new Taurus too. Someone just told me that it will also have Adaptive Cruise Control too, and that the driver can even set how far away the other car is. From looking at one of the pictures (see below) it looks like they are using a Heads Up Display for the Adaptive Cruise Control indicator, which would be incredible if the picture is displaying it correctly

God I love technology

Nice review here. I forgot all about the new 6 speed tranny, which they gave high praise for. Oddly, as excited as I am about buying a new car (any new car) I think I'm even more excited about adding two M47's, the Veil, the 9500ci, sequential turn signals and the Viper 5901 remote start alarm
