As a Cheetah GPS-Mirror user (as well as user of the Escort 9500i), I've often wondered if there would be any advantages to also updating my 9500i to an ix.
Truthfully, I think that the only thing to be gained would be the arrow indication of the camera location....but I am not sure if I could stand the overlapping alerts.
And for as much as I appreciate the subtle nature of the alerts on my GPS-Mirror (which is something that I require, given the preferences of my primary passengers) I also really like how eye-grabbing the alert graphics are on the Cobra.

I agree, beyond its very good laser performance, the manner in which this detector alerts to photo enforcement locations, is most impressive for a radar detector. It's alert chimes are very very appealing in sound.
If Cobra addressed its radar alert "ramping" nature (via software) that would go along way to making such a detector, quite desirable overall, IMHO.
