The new test results were JTG after he leveled up and aligned the heads. Great results against the Truspeed.

^ That's good to hear!

I haven't had time to re-check the RD.net Forums this weekend, but I did see mhardy's preliminary results, which were, at that time, sub-300 ft. PTs.

It's good to know that that particular set of PT concerns were simply due to leveling concerns, and that the Blinder is now among the devices that's most competent against the TruSpeed.

Yes it is good to know, it seems a lot of problems people have are due to leveling and alignment.

Hopefully mhardy will post thevideos over here for everyone, they were pretty impressive.

Thumbs up Sweet!

This is so good to hear, I knew the Blinder would Jam the truspeed. Believe it or not the truspeed is not much different than the Ultralyte LR's software. The real difference is beam width/divergence. 2.5 vs 3.0 makes alittle difference in punch-throughs. Its good to know the J16 came out on top.

^ Agreed - both are crucial, and all the more, now with the TruSpeed.

Ivan's post on the LI Forums also contained the specific concession that although their generic "Unknown Gun" algorithm will more than sufficiently jam the TruSpeed in a true-JTG manner, the more critical issue was head placement, as well as proper alignment/leveling.

I think this, combined with previous data from a variety of today's jammers, all points to the fact that we should be much more proactive in routinely checking our heads' aim.
