Question New Blinder Rumor?

I am new to this site and this is my first post, so forgive me if I ask something that has already been addressed. Due to an "unfortunate incident" I am getting back into detector ownership. This will happen in phases, and I am starting with a Escort 9500ix and Veil G4 (just waiting on the tax refund). I want a laser jammer to go with this set up, but that will require some saving up. From all of the research I have read, and an active "grapevine", I heard that Blinder is coming out with a unit this summer that has smaller heads. Any truth to this? I am interested in the Blinder and the LI and want to get the most for my money, so I have not made my final decision. Thoughts? Have a four door 04' Accord V6, so two heads or four in the front? Any info or advice is appreciated.

No plans for smaller heads at this time and the newer version of the Blinder M25 would serve you well..

Smile Perfect setup

Jaminc,

First off welcome to the forum Yes a Blinder M25 and Laser Veil G4 for the head lights will give you JTG performance on a 04 accord. Since 95% of police shoot the front of cars versus the rear.

I feel for the money, the Blinder M25 with Veil G4 is the way to go. I don't know what the color of your car is, but remember darker colors such as Black, dark grey, dark green and blue are very difficult for laser guns to acquire a fast speed reading, versus a white or bright red car.

The reason I would choose the Blinder over the Laser Interceptor, is Reliability. The LI is a great jammer, but its reliability is in question. Blinder has had great success over the years with its Jammers. I hope this information I have given to you was helpful.

Default Thanks

I appreciate the replys. Looks like I am headed down the path of my first Blinder purchase. Just for the record, my car color is silver. Not ideal but she is mine.
Do you guys know what distance most LEO try to clock via laser?
Thanks again.

^ This varies depending on your locale, and what's preferred by that municipality's enforcers.

In Ohio, for example, on the open highway, Troopers have been known to engage at merely 700 ft., and various townships, on local streets, have even been known to engage at only 300 ft.
