I can tell you that a surprise feature was added at the last minute and needed to be fully tested.

The pre production units with the latest features have had rigorous bench testing and have over 5,000 miles of combined drive time on them.

Should be shipping later this month.

This radar detector is full of great stuff. I might just get a whistler for my mom's brother. He really needs one. Awesome job whistler group. You have out done yourselves.
