Default How does the GPSmirror suppress false alarms on radar detectors

Video tutorial about the Cheetah GPSmirror

How it works and how it filters out false alarms on radar detectors, etc.

Basically everything.

GB,

Indeed it looks very cool.

I am expecting to be putting one through its paces in an upcoming long-distance trip.

Since red light cameras are beginning to proliferate throughout Philadelphia, the time couldn't be better.

BTW, I may be making my way through Georgia in the coming weeks...

This latest version includes a couple of small new features that are different to the original model.

For example the update cable is now a single USB solutuion. The GPS Antenna has been moved to inside the mirror housing so it's an all-in-one solution now. you get a CD with it which contains the updater software instead of having to download it.

Lots of small changes that just add up to making it much nicer for the customer.

Don should be shipping the Veil Guy a sample unit next week for testing and review.

Al,

Does this mean that there is one less "object" that has to be mounted on/by the windscreen as a result of this consolidation?

When Cobra's GPS-enabled radar detector, the Cobra XRS R7 is converted into the Cobra XRS R9G, one pays a small penalty in real-estate as their GPS receiver is a separate component which occupies quite a bit more space which includes a small USB-type connector.

Is it possible Al that you could provide pics of an installation of each (before/after revisions)?
