The Veil Guy called me yesterday and told me that some customers were having trouble finding retailers that would ship Veil to Canada. I just wanted to let everyone that we have worked with UPS and are able to ship Veil to Canada.
There are a couple of caveats, however, that you should be aware of. Normally, we ship Canadian orders via the US Postal Service which helps customers avoid extra charges. Because Veil is flammable, however, it has to be shipped through a ground service like UPS. At the time UPS delivers the package, they will require payment for customs and the brokerage fee. These extra costs could be in the neighborhood of $30-$40.

Hello Danny, you are from buyradardetectors.com right? I was just browsing the site about Veil. I was wondering if you could ship by fed-ex as opposed to ups? Fed-ex has much more reasonble customs charges and shipping rates.
Hi triplem! We have tried a variety of shipping services in the past including FedEx. While we do like FedEx Express and have nothing but good things to say about it, FedEx Ground has not been the best. We pride ourselves in getting orders out quickly and we also like for those orders to show up in a reliable manner. We would love to be able to ship for less and pass all the savings to the customer, but we also like you to receive the items you have bought undamaged and in a reasonable amount of time.
If FedEx Ground service improves we will consider using them again. In the meantime, keep in mind that we do offer USPS shipping. This is our most popular service to Canada and it will allow you to avoid the brokerage charges that are incurred with UPS ground shipments.

I tried to call the customer service number of Buy Radar Detectors - Lowest Radar Detector Prices Anywhere! and the rep told me that was the case that USPS shipping is available to Canada. Therefore I placed my order online indicating such method for delivery. However I got a message back a few hours later from customer service after I submitted my order that only UPS was available to Canada. I asked to have my order cancelled at this time as I have been burned by UPS in the past and don't want to take a chance on them again. So, it seems USPS is not available. Thank-you.
