How do you remove Veil?

What is the entire process for removing Veil?

Also, once Veil has been applied, can standard car wax be applied to it?

Removal of Veil is pretty simple.

Just use household ammonia to initially soften the hard film and then follow with household rubbing alcohol.

I have been told that Windex also does the job at loosening the film.

Follow with a clean water rinse.

I suppose you could wax the Veil, but why would you want to?

How often does it need to be removed, everytime you re-apply it?

Also, how long does each application last. Do you just re-apply it when you start seeing it wear away? Thanks.

Yes, indeed, we recommend complete removal prior to a re-application.

I had Veil G2 on my vehicle for 5+ years before having to replace my headlights due to the need to replace a headlight housing (veil was still going strong).

We would expect G4 to perform similarly.

Depending on environmental conditions, yes you would likely see the film deteriorate or look worn (due to stone chips, etc) before deciding to re-coat.

Obviously, your circumstances may vary, but you have the idea...
