68gtconv,
Nothing strange at all and actually, no, we're not in receivership or any other financial distress, for that matter.
That's quite a leap outta left field...the 'drama,' that can play out on the Internet, never ceases to amaze me.
Our organization has a series of development tracks some civilian, some not, in otherwords we have more than one revenue stream; so a little disruption to Laser Veil sales has very little impact on our bottom-line.
With respect to our next generation Laser Veil automative stealth coating, we have decided to skip a generation and lead out with G4 (instead of what was originally planned as G3) due to some recent developmental breakthroughs that we wish to be incorporated into our next release.
Our primary objective was to achieve a material that was capable of being shipped by air and internationally. This objective alone has been extremely challenging for our engineering group.
Among other improvements expected are performance and aesthetic related. Each of these do not come easily or quickly, either.
Since we are an engineering company at our core and not a sales driven organization, we have not rushed out our products to meet some arbitrarily set time-line. We fully hope that our supporters recognize our commitment to excellence and will continue to be patient...the improvements to Veil should be regarded as significant.
We have had some delays, that's true (the testing protocols can be protracted, at times), but we are aiming for the beginning of the driving season by mid to late April to have some limited G4 in the hands of our most preferred online dealers the two primary authorized VEIL U.S. dealers are Buy Radar Detectors and Radar Busters.
Please keep the faith, we hope you'll find it was worth the wait.
Veil Guy
