I look at this ongoing "radar vs radar detector war" more a driving business development engine, like so most other industries, really.
So, I understand the dynamics, and its positive economic benefits to our societies...in the end it
is a
business after all (which
gainfully employs a lot of people)...which means, individual livelihoods are at stake.
At least on this forum, my vision [for this forum] is to
lower the temperature [and rhetoric] to
generate more light than heat.
And, this extends toward the agents of traffic enforcement, as well.
Nothing would please me more than to see this war, downsize more to the likes of a constructive dialogue. Each piece has its [rightful] place and function.
One of my major motivating factors for hosting such a discussion group is to defend and protect our long-established driving freedoms and civil liberties.
And, at the moment, I am taking aim at the
industrial-complex of the automated photo enforcement and other kinds of
photo enforcement and all its implications to our societies and not just in the US, but around the world.
I'd like to believe that this
one positive goal on which we
should all be able to
agree .

Just observing the general state of the technological radar/RD war. All one has to do is look at the new police radar equiptment and know we on the "driver's side" are behind by a fair amount.
