Veil GuyOver the years, the Veil Guy has pioneered a unique reviewing style of radar detectors, laser jammers, gps detectors, Veil, and other speed trap countermeasures.
He drives extensive miles throughout North America, pitting these countermeasures against genuine speed traps to determine the real-world potential of each of the products tested. While his unique style has been imitated, it's never been equaled.
The Veil Guy has used radar detectors for nearly three decades and his experiences should be considered before making an informed radar detector or other countermeasure purchase. The opinions expressed by the Veil Guy are solely his own and not necessarily representative of speedtraphunter.net.
I second that!! I'm more affraid of these state troopers using Instant-on versus laser. Its fast accurate and deadly. Radar is still used more widely than laser. Its just too bad the FCC bans Radar jamming.

In all honesty, with the proper protective measures, LIDAR is something that I no longer see as a threat.
Trust me I don't care to go to jail for 5 years and pay high fines for owning a radar jammer. There has only been one radar jammer that ever worked called the scorpian. It was tested by Radar Roy. It was the only jammer that worked against radar. I will stick to my V1 and Blinder for Laser. I have no intentions of buying a radar jammer. Since there are none out there that work! What I can't believe is how rocky mountain radar is still in business. LOL

Can you imagine operating a radar jammer only to have every radar detector in close proximity go off as a consequence?
Can you say rear-end collisions? Dare I say, better to use a rabbit would be much safer (if not much less effective)?
