New verison of V1 (3.864)

Valentine is now shipping a new version 3.864.

Looks like the only difference that I saw was there is now a programable feature to turn on/off the Euro X band

If anyone else has information let me know.

i just bought my V1 in febuary of 08' , and i am highly impressed with the sensitivty with it for laser , one night i was traveling in the opposite direction , of which the cop was shooting , im guessing that the laser was reflecting off the oncomming traffic headlights and then triggered my v1 , because i saw him trying to catch on comming traffic as they crested the hill.

Last week, I read about the newest firmware (3.864) on one of the groups. Since I am still 'test' driving my unit, I decided to email VR just in case the newer firmware was significant. The folks at VR didn’t know this, but prior to ordering it, I already decided to keep it

I decided to ask them about the newer firmware before my 30 day’s were up. This way, if 3.864 offered an additional feature, I’d be eligible for a free upgrade.

Below is my email to VR along with their reply – I can’t say that their reply was very eloquent but it answered my question(s), I think?

Thats good information to know. The Valentineone is a awesome unit. I have had mine for, 7 years now and it works like a dream. On my video where the suwanee cop was trying to hit me as I was turning. Notice the V1 kept going off. That was laser scatter. No other detector on the market can pick-up laser scatter like the V1 can.
