^ Yep, that's correct.



^ In this picture, on the far right hand side, there's a blue MINI fuse, with lettering pointing right, that has a red wire "jammed" into it. It's next to a blue-colored relay.

That's the idea.

You can see several wires done this way, in the picture below:



And also, the white wire in this one:

I know this question is off topic of the original thread but I am really interested in getting a CB. Could you wire the CB to the fuse box like that or would you recommend going straight to the battery?

^ That one's, sadly, beyond my shallow knowledge-pool.

If you don't get a definitive answer here, check on RadarDetector.net, specifically in the CB/scanner sub-Forum. There's a bunch of guys there who are intensely into this countermeasure, and I'm sure that they'll be more than willing to provide you with information.
