Indeed, as everyone who has contributed on this thread has voiced, this becomes a sticky situation, then.....either assert your right and deal with the real-world consequences, or don't and deal with yet another set of real-world consequences.
That is a common lament which I hear on *every* automotive-enthusiast Forum.
One of my friends, praedet from LegacyGT.com, recently cited this:
