Welcome, BelTeam and RadarExpert its good to have you guys here on the forum. I love your products and look forward to all of the new stuff you guys are coming out with. As a matter of fact I just got back from the SEMA show and spoke with Escort and Beltronics while I was out there. Great group of guys!

Not a problem! After having driven with different brands of RD's (see my signature), and ultimately being disappointed with my first (and LAST) Cobra, I set my mind on buying a brand I had my eyes on for years. Back in the early 1990's I was ready to purchase a Passport 7500, but money fell short and for years had to settle for sub-standard protection. I was IMMEDIATELY impressed with the range of detection on my X50. Since I occasionally do some driving in Ontario, and most recently Quebec, I needed to have the stealth capability of the STi Driver. I must say it was a VERY enjoyable experience driving by the OPP without getting a second glance!

OK guys I have a little sample of the 9500ci at work for you to comment on. First a little background. I am running the V1 mounted high right and left of the rear view mirror. It has POP off and X-band off in little L mode, volume is turned all the way down. I use it now basically to locate a threat identified by the 9500ix. I did not install the ZR4 shifters as I already have a quad LI installed on the Vette (2 front & 2 rear).

Maiden voyage for the 9500ci I am traveling N on I-85 at a speed that should cause an LEO to take interest. I am following a Pontiac and I get a weak K band alert on the 9500ci and look at the V1 to see where it's coming from. Nothing on the display no alert no arrows, nothing. We are coming up on the crest of a hill so I slow in case it's a real threat, and guess what. A county sheriff running IO just over the hill.

A few of thoughts:

1st. As a vette owner myself, I really appreciate the view of your hood!

2nd. I quickly learned with my Escort 9500ci, that its performance is stunning (like the Beltronics STi-R) and I believe represents an entirely new level of performance in a radar detector.

3rd. Depending on the model of your Valentine One, you may be interested in having it checked out by Valentine Research for a "tune-up" (if its a model that has analogue temperature compensation circuitry).
