Default Escort Passport Shifter ZR4 Review – Speed of Light Protection

Roy was selected as one of the only “beta testers” for Cincinnati Microwave’s new laser jammer system, the Shifter ZR4 with new “Double-Pulse” protection (capable of jamming Laser Atlanta's stealth mode police lidar gun).

Recent Roy spent several hours testing the final production model of the Shifter ZR4 against his arsenal of police laser guns. His results suggest that the Shifter ZR4 is a most impressive laser jamming system:

Default Laser Guns

Roy,

I have tested a escort ZR3 against my Ultrlyte LTI 20-20. It seems that the Ultralyte and the Laser Atlanta S is the hardest guns to jam for the LED jammers. Of course every LED jammer is different. My Blinder spanked a stalker LZ1 just a week ago. Stalkers are much easier to jam than the Ultralyte's. The beam on the Ultrlyte is much tighter and narrow. Plus you have to be a real good shooter with the Ultralytes versus the stalker. A steady hand on a Ultralyte is pretty dangerous.

I just got my ZR4 from an outfit on the East Coast - they gave me a great price over the phone - and they have plenty in stock - if you want their name/phone number send me a PM and I will give you their info.
They are listed on both Escort and Beltronics websites as authorized dealers, so I knew right away they were the real deal!
