GB,

Sounds good. In fact, if you PM me your shipping address, we'll send you a production version of the new Veil G4, so you can witness for yourself the reductions or complete eliminations of jammer punch-thoughs in combination with Veil G4.

Can't wait to see what you find!

Smile Thanks!

Veil Guy,

Thanks I will do that. I think the ultralyte LTI 20-20 is a good gun for testing. I'm real excited to see this G4 in action.

Bob,

So the new G4 is good on HID lights??? I see some thought has gone into improving it!. I did some tests back in the day with the laser sheild, that thing failed terribly..almost embarrasing actually. with or without a jammer it made no difference...still got pT on a trusty laser mimic at the exact same spot. The LPP or Def2 still JTG no matter if the sheild was on or off, havnt tested with the ZR3 yet

Whats the lifespan of the new stuff?

Default Escort ZR4

Veil Guy,

I believe escort is going to be at SEMA this year. I wonder if they are going to make a stronger ZR4 than the previous. It seems escort is falling behind in the performance field of laser protection compared to other competitors. I would like to see a stronger ZR4 next year come out. Although at our athens test which had lasermask, blinder, escort etc. It did pretty well. Maybe escort is working on improvements for the ZR4.

To be honest with you, despite the concerns expressed by some about the ZR4's "performance" relative to other jammers, it is its performance in the real-world against the average officer targeting.

I have had terrific real-world results with my 9500ci coupled with Veil G4 on my difficult to cloak metallic silver large sedan and have more than adequate protection.

I have even had some rear targeting in Kentucky that provided real-world protection (and I am sure I would have been toast without it).

I am personally not measuring my satisfaction with my particular laser jammer by its percentage of JTG (or lack thereof) and I have yet to encounter a real-world laser encounter where I did not have the protection I needed. Until such time otherwise, that's good enough for me.

This in no way takes away my support for these other jammmers and the enthusiasms shared by users of them.

It's all good.
