I am sounding like Craig Peterson??? PLEASE, give me a break. LOL.

At any rate, if you live in the Atlanta area (where red light cameras are beginning to proliferate) then you may change your mind if you are unfortunate enough to get a speeding ticket or a redlight running ticket one day. The Cheetah and the GPS-enabled detectors are really going to come into their own in the very near future...you can mark my words.

I have been driving with a Valentines longer than most (nearly two decades!!!), believe me I truly know the strengths and weaknesses of them (as well as many others) more than most. How long have you been a V1 fan? (I bet it's less than that amount time).

All I have done is simply acknowledged the achievements of both Beltronics and Escort which are significant.

At least in my mind, that in now way diminishes that greatness of the V1.

Why not keep an opened mind and actually live with one of these newer detectors (9500ci, 9500ix, GX65, STi-R) for a little while and let me know what you think, then.

Otherwise, enjoy your V1, it still is a great all-around radar/laser detector (that's why I own four of them!)

Peace, bro! Out.

Veil Guy,

I'm just having some fun with you. Don't take it personal. I'm just a V1 Zombie nothing more. I respect what your saying, but thats what makes this forum so good. We can all give our opinions.

Peace
