I could not agree with you more. The Bel units have always been a favorite of mine. My first radar detector was a whistler, then a Beltronics 890 model. I now drive with the V1 and I'm now considering a escort 9500ix. All of these radar detectors will give awesome performance.

Ahhh, the venerable old friend and trusted companion, the Beltronics Pro RX-65.

It certainly wasn't an unsong hero of mine. I praised the Hell out of it four years ago in the certain face of V1 Zombism.

...And then here.

I am also happy with mine, it makes a detector actually usable in a large city. And the RLC alerts integrated into the RD is also really nice.

I have a Blue RX-65 which is the M4 platform, do you see a big difference in the old S7 vs. the newer M4 performance wise. I have heard the older ones performed alot better.
