Question Do I need to upgrade?

I have an Escort 8500. As far as I know, it isn't a 8500 X50. I rec'd an advertisement from Escort offering an $80 trade in on a purchase of a new 8500 X50, 9500i or SOLO. How much better would the 9500i be against my 8500? Is it worth the $ to upgrade?

Default Your Good!

Molder,,

Hey stick with the Escort you have. Its more than enough. But if you were going to upgrade, go with the 9500i. I use a V1, my relatives have the Bel 995 vector. The escort 8500 will do just fine. Save your money!

I agree with stegall1000. The 8500 is a very good unit and functions well. If you did the upgrade go with the 9500. Stay away from the Solo. People like it because it is cordless, but its performance is not in the same class as the 8500 and 9500

Thanks guys. I kind of thought that but wanted to get better informed opinions. I'll just stay with my Escort for now.
