For years Escorts were hands down the only detectors to have and now it is the Valentine. I had Escorts for years until Mike left and invented the Valentine. The range and quality clearly has dipped and never has returned. New models rarely came out back then but now it seems like they make a new unit yearly, great for profits not great for buyers.
The Redline/9500ci/STR-R are a bit more sensitive than the V1. Escort is starting catch up with the mighty V1. I hope Mike V. hasn't gotten complacent.
