Janet Napolitano as Supreme Court Justice: Potentially Damaging to Civil Liberties

In the wake of Justice Souter's Supreme Court vacancy, the appointment of Janet Napolitano--former Arizona Governor and now current DHS head--as his replacement could be potentially very damaging to our civil liberties.

Janet Napolitano has been a long-time advocate of Totalitarianistic enterprises, involving government and private industry which, among other things, proliferate due-process robbing, civil-rights' abusing, and hugely profitable photo enforcement systems.

Under Napolitano's guidance, Arizona has essentially become a police state (outsourced to the private for-profit industry).

Her appointment as a Supreme Court Justice would most certainly be championed by political insiders/lobbyists who have a vested (financial) interest in companies like RedFlex and American Traffic Systems.

Barely a hundred days have elapsed since Janet Napolitano took the "helm" of Homeland and already she may be in the process of being fast-tracked into the High Court (where the constitutionality of photo enforcement systems may ultimately be challenged).

Orwellian's nightmare may well be on its way to becoming a stark reality.

Regardless of where you stand in the political spectrum, if you oppose Napolitano's nomination, please make your feelings known to your U.S. Senators and to the current administration.
