Hopefully we can get a definitive answer from Escort. I've found the customer support reps not too knowledgeable.
Well, funny you should say that triplem. I got an email back from someone named Shelly in CS, stating that all questions regarding installation etc. need to be directed to the professional installer...

I'm the one who put it in!!!!!!!!

Vic,
Sounds like you need to call yourself.

By the way guys, the installation video I was talking about was a DVD directly from Escort that was included with my ZR4, so it's supposed to be an 'authorized' instructional installation video direct from the manufacturer. Looks like we don't have a consensus yet.

Here is the rear shifter mounting procedure from the Escort video I posted:
YouTube - Escort ZR4 rear laser head mounting

It appears he is mounting the raised portion on the right, yet his screw holes are pointing in the opposite direction as vschuel's. If I'm to mount my rear jammer with the raised part on the right, then my mount would look like yours, vshcuel. But the guy in the vid has his screw holes of the jammer pointing in the opposite direction of ours while his raised part looks to be on the right. Check it out.
