I received my unit for testing a couple of days ago.

Today I put the GPSmirror through its paces around the streets of Philadelphia.

So far, the GPSmirror correctly identified every intersection that I came across that is monitored by ATS red light camera systems.

I am preparing a full and detailed review of their updated model (GPSM1) along with their latest radar detector interfaces.

That'll be the product working as advertised then.

That's the main point of the GPSmirror - it draws your attention in advance to camera locations for four main reasons:

You can avoid a ticket for being caught out by an intersection with a "short-timed" yellow light.
You don't accidentally run a light yourself because you were distracted on a cellphone or by other passengers.
You can avoid rear-end collisions by knowing where to watch for other drivers stamping on the brakes at the last minute.
You know where to look out for red light runners - they only put these cameras where they are the most likely to catch people doing it.

Like any other company we may make an occasional mistake but usually we'll have camera locations plotted before the poles are even in the ground.

Bob,

I see you're going to have to put up with the cameras for at least the next 4 years. And they're not going to share the profits with the school system any more.
