I have had my Blinder m-25 installed with the Cheetah wireless fitting kit and stealth node. The wireless link seems a bit twitchy, the green link light goes on and off (mostly off) on it's own. The stealth key fob seems to be able to turn the Blinder on and off, even when the wireless remote is being weird.
As set up, there is an LED attached to some wiring near the Blinder control unit (under the hood). Sometimes it is red and sometimes it is green. I have had the remote unit go off, indicating a laser hit, while just sitting in the driveway with the car running (headlights on, at night, shining at another parked car).
Overall this makes it a little hard to tell if my Blinder is on or off and if it is working correctly at any particular point in time.
The blinder manual seems to indicate that the led should be green if the unit has power and red if it has detected laser.

How can i tell if my wireless node is defective?
You can easily test the Blinder installation by firing a TV remote control at the Blinder head during the initial 30 seconds after power on. The LED will turn red and your warning unit will activate.
I have had a chance to test my Blinder install with the Cheetah wireless kit and it seems to work quite well. The issues I originally encountered don't seem to have continued.
Hello guy's
i just got my BLINDER M25 X-TREME LASER JAMMER. and i was wondering if i place my Head's in the Right spot. I have been driving around countlessly to get targeted. i know it Memorial Day weekend and i know Statetoopers and local dept. are out and about targeting other people . and also Looking for Someone that might have a Laser gun that wouldn't my if i test out my blinder System. Waco, killeen, Temple, RoundRock, Austin. I was reading another post saying Blinder has a New Version J-15. how do you check what version you have?
Your Install is fine. The only Suggestion I would make is, bring your heads out to the edge of your bumper. I have found by letting the heads stick out just slightly improves the performance. Pushing them further back decreases performance. I do testing in the atlanta area with a Ultralyte Laser gun. We are having a big Laser jammer test tomorrow with 5 vehicles, all carrying Blinders. Add maybe some Laser Veil to your head lights and you will be golden. As for the version of blinder you have. Look on the box in the lower corner it will have the serial number followed by the Revision # "J11" or "J15". It's also on the back of your M25 heads.
