Drivers ED and Low Standards
Drivers these days seem to be getting worse and worse. Teenagers are especially poor drivers. Everybody's had a run in with a teenage girl driving a GMC Yukon right out of drivers ed or some kid in his fast and furious edition Honda Civic. Roads today are flat out dangerous due to these unskilled drivers. Two years ago I started drivers ed and found out exactly how low the standards are. Walking in the door I had over 40hrs more experience behind the wheel of a car than the next person.(12 hrs) On top of that we were allowed to retake all the tests until we passed, regardless of how hard it was to fail. I cant help but feel that my high insurance and "inexperienced' public view are a direct result of organizations like the one I attended doing the very least for their students. Have Drivers ED schools always been so bad? |
