It would also be a nice phrase for you to use on a device that checks the coating coverage of your product on cars buddy. Something that sends out a simulated lazer source and takes a reading of the return signal off your car to see if the coating is sufficent.

I come from a long line of inventors buddy. Glad I can share these thoughts with you. Keep these ideas absolutely for free. I have always respected your product and your RD reviews.

One company I will never ever share an idea with again is whistler. I don't believe Michael B was involved with this at all so I don't blame him.

I sent the Whistler company a idea for picking up RDD's by using the same local oscillator signal that RDD's depend on to pick up radar detectors. Knowing a thing or two about basic electronics it was obvious to me the RDD's sent out the very same signal they were built for detecting. At the time all the Radar detector companies were totally stumped trying to figure out ways to combat this menace. All were trying to reduce or eliminate theses LO emissions. None were successful. None had a clue what to do!

Well I sent in my idea to whistler asking ONLY that whistler send me one of their new RD unit's with this feature if they decided to use the idea. Not a big request one would think.

Never heard a thing from them again. Nothing. Not even a polite rejection letter. I assumed they just off handily rejected my idea. Then about a six to eight months later I see that a RD company has come out with a "original" new clocking device for their detectors that picks up the vg-2 and then shuts the detector down for a minute!

Guess who the company was...WHISTLER!

Still waiting for my detector....
