Default Be Glad too!

Which part do you want first? How V1 has out performed Beltronics for year after year, or how V1's software has dominated Bel's top of the line radar detectors in 4 out of 5 testing websites including speedzones, car&driver, radarone, motortrend, should I keep going... Just because you pull apart radar detectors, tells me nothing. I guess you think your a engineer now right. First of all I'm not a "fanboy", second you need to learn how to address people when you talk.. Third If you can't stand the fact that V1's in almost every radar detector testing forum/ third party testing has been kicking Beltronics butt, well too bad. I happen to know that plastic does not hold up against heat like magnesium does, I also know that Mike valentine was the "mind" behind escort/passport back in the day and forked off to make a radar detector that would beat both Bel and escort in performance. Bel nor escort which are now the same company, to me in my opinion are even close to V1. There have been a few test recently to show that the Bel/escorts can stay head to head with the V1 in Ka and K performance.. But look how long it took them. Since 1992 V1 has really had the better radar detector overall. Many will disagree, and thats fine.. But when independent testers all show the V1 picking up faster and better range, not to mention its the only radar detector to have a true front/rear antenna (window mounted that is). Then where is the Bel and escort???? Again I like both radar detectors. My V1 has out performed every Bel I have owned. Thats why I drive with the Best and nothing Less..
