actually steagal, Craig Peterson at radartest,com did a complete heat test on the Bell and the Valentine and the valentine ended up failing from the heat and not being able to be used after that. It electronics totally crapped out! This without even a warning also. The Bell gave a warning, shut down and worked as it originally did after it had cooled down. Also the radar one site is the absolutely totally worst radar information site on the internet.
you also have it totally wrong that the valentine because of it's metal casing gives it more protection. A black metal case is the worst thing one can make a detector with that is exposed to high heat..!
