I guess thats a good way to look at it. Thanks Bob for the feed back. Craig as for pulling up behind someone with a V1, when the unit is in active mode, it automatically dims. Which in my opinion is harder to see compared to being in day light where its brighter. As for tickets, I've never seen a cop give one for a radar detector. Atleast not me. Georgia is known for its instant-on officers. I got pulled over for my window tint being to dark and while the officer left his radar on while talking to me at my window, he just starred at my V1 going off and that was it. Now if i'm running 100 mph and He hits me with radar but I have time to slow down, then maybe yes I would get a warning for having the device, because I was speeding.
