Jammers survive just fine in the AZ heat. I know quite a few guys around the Phoenix area who have had them on their cars for years.
I'd definitely agree with adding a jammer alongside your V1. Although it has a good laser detector as well as radar,
detecting laser is not going to help you much because usually it's already too late.
Also watch out for the DPS' new photo radar toys. I'd be very grateful if you 'd be kind enough to let me know where you spot them.
