In your first sentence you stated you have not applied it on a minivan. Then why would you reply. If you took the time to answer this did you take the time to look at the shape of a Toyota Sienna Limited Headlight. The method you describe doesn't work, "you should be able to". Come on, this is the blind leading the blind. I have used up half the can trying desperately to create a uniform pattern. I did my wifes' 06 Toyota Avalon with perfect success. Simple one plane flat headlight assembly with just a hint of visible distortion. Simple one plane foglight with no distortion. From a distance of 3 feet or greater it is visually undetectable. Using a Palm Beach County Sheriff laser parked outside our nursery everyday as an example, the distance was reduced from 1825 feet to 831 feet on the Avalon. I know it works. It is the application that is the problem.
