Exclamation blinder m25 install

after trying to mount my Blinder m25 in an SLK mercedes, I must say i was getting a little frustrated!! Thanks to forum members i was able to call and talk to Leon at Blinders Extreme.com. He and i both agree that the brackets that were designed for the Blinder receptors are rarely used due to the lack of space needed to drill holes and properly mount with the supplied screws.. Even if u could mount the brackets they STILL need to be leveled which requires shimming. The mounting brackets SHOULD be made so that after mounting one can adjust receptor so it is perfectly level. Leon told me that he has mentioned it b/4 to Blinder and i think, after we talked, it will be brought to their attention again. It is quite astounding that the Blinder m25 with all it's great technology, could be rendered useless without proper installation. And with the help of some other forum members and Leon, i was told to go with the 3m two sided tape. to shim it,,to keep it intact and stable for optimum performance. Also i suggested that in inclement weather or states that outlaw the use of the laser jammer that a COVER should be made to not only protect the lens but to serve as an explanation to the state authorities that do NOT allow laser jammers, so as to avoid being ticketed or possible confiscation. btw I thought i saw on another post, a video where they did have covers for the receptors. if anyone knows about the covers please chime in.
Just a little info. to anyone installing the Blinder M25. unless u have a Hummer or large vehicle. don't be upset or worried that u are doing something wrong when u can't mount the receptor brackets. The 3M tape will do fine. gotta go!
best regards: Greg O.
