This is potentially very good news.
With AZDOT, RedFlex, and Scottsdale City Council indicating 70% approval rating for these damned cameras (of course these numbers are specious) putting their approval on a statewide ballot is the only true way to get the sentiment of approval/disapproval from Arizona residents.
Of course, I would expect resistance from those with vested interests to such a measure...but I sure hope the ballot initiative succeeds in defeating these corporations.
