I personally had an older SS3000 remote installed in my vehicle and its performance did lag a bit behind these other radar detectors, even though the antenna was physically larger than the ones used in the other three: the Beltronics Pro RX65, Escort Passport 8500 X50, and the Valentine One (although I never received a ticket relying one).
