Yes you should always fight a ticket. Unless its something not really big, you know like a $50.00 window tint ticket. But for $442.00, I would be in the judges chambers explaining what happened. Usually they will reduce the ticket down so it will not go on your insurance. If your lucky the officer will never show for court. Then it will be dropped.
