Speed Camera Lobbyists go "Dark"
Back in August of 2007, I published an article on my blog about the
profit-motives behind the proliferation of automated photo enforcement: red light cameras, speed on green, and speed cameras/photo radar/photo lidar.
One of the links from that article pointed to a list of
professional lobbyists.
A recent check on the site revealed the list has been removed, although I would expect the for-hire paid lobbyists/firms remain.
What happened to public
outreach? Sounds more like
shine the light in the dark corner and the cockroaches disperse:
