Living in Arizona, wild west and all, I never thought photo enforcement would catch on. I watched Town of Paradise Valley start using speed monitoring vans, instal a red light camera. I was sure in such an upscale area, full of lawyers, it would stop. It didn't. Then other communities jumped on the photo enforcement gravey train. I could avoid these areas......for a while. Then it came to where I live, Scottsdale. Scottsdale, with dollar signs in their councils eyes, has gone photo crazy! They installed cameras on the freeway as a "test", and have now turned the responcibility over to the Highway Patrol.

Scottsdale started with Redflex, but changed to ATS just this month. Both companies have corporate offices in Scottsdale. Our 2 Scottsdale judges rubber stamp citation convictions without question. They look the other way concerning proper "serving" of the citation. I too am sickened at this mess.
